Special Occasions and Memorial Gifts

Getting married or celebrating a birthday, Bar Mitvah or anniversary? Want to do something good for your community? Whatever the occasion, consider asking your friends and relatives to make donations to the BTA in your name.

We are also able to accept memorial gifts in honor of friends and loved ones who have passed away. Please complete this form to provide us with the information we need to properly direct your donation.

Richard German Memorial Fund

Richard German was an avid cyclist, passionate bicycling advocate and mentor to many. Richard passed away on June 25, 2010 while bicycle camping in the San Juan Islands.

If you would like to make a donation in memory of Richard, please include a note with your gift.

Planned Giving

Support the BTA and our advocacy work through a planned gift. Options for leaving a bequest include:

  • Naming the BTA as the beneficiary of an IRA or other investment account;
  • Naming the BTA in your will, with a contribution of a specific dollar amount or as a percentage of your estate; or
  • Other methods involving stock or real estate (please confer with your financial advisor).

Donate Your Car

Donate your car, truck, motorcycle, boat, RV, or camper to the BTA and help fund our cycling advocacy work in the region. We have partnered with Vehicles for Charity to make donating your vehicle as easy as possible.

You can start the donation process online or by phone at 1-866-628-2277. Have the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) ready, as well as the title number, and notes on the make, model, year, and condition of the car.
