Overlapping and intersecting plans for the Pearl mean changes - good ones - for bicycling.

Monday night Salem City Council approved a proposal to seek ODOT funding for the development of new bicycle boulevard corridors throughout the city. If the grant proposal is approved by ODOT, Salem will receive $425,000 in funds for planning and implementing the new routes.
