Tigard Transportation x 2 on Wednesday
Posted by: MargauxJan 25 2010, 4:34 pm
There are two opportunities this Wednesday to discuss the future of bicycling and transportation in Tigard. Our statewide advocate Susan Peithman is capable of being in two places at once, so plan to see her at both events.
Open House on Tigard's Transportation Vision
When: Wednesday, January 27, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Tigard Public Library Community Room, 13500 SW Hall Boulevard
At the open house on Wednesday evening, Tigard residents and business owners have a chance to review Transportation System Plan (TSP) goals and policies, as well as a list of projects intended to meet the community's needs over the next 20 years. Based on our positive experience last August and September working with city planners and residents to find a solution for bicycling on Burham Street, we think the vision for Tigard will include bike improvements.
