Ride the new & improved I-205 path with the BTA and local electeds

Join the Bicycle Transportation Alliance, Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), TriMet and elected officials on a twilight bike ride along ODOT’s new & improved I-205 path.

The finished path along the new MAX Green Line will connect Lents and East County to more opportunities for biking and walking, expanding transportation options while improving the health of the community. The new lights, funded by federal stimulus funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), will help ensure the path remains safe and accessible for all users.

Does anyone know when that part of the path will officially open?

That part of the path will officially open on November 7, same day as the ride.

Will it be open for commuters the week beforehand?
Time changes this weekend and its getting dark. It would be a nice way to get to work given that we've waited two years and the hill on 92nd south of Johnson Creek is treacherous coming downhill in the dark and rain.

Please, someone who speaks, request that those without fenders ride either slowly, and/or at the back of the group. That is the polite thing to do.
