Take a multi-modal tour of the new Green Line MAX corridor

On Saturday, September 12, from 11:30 am til the last train of the night, the Green Line MAX will be open and free to the public.
At the same time, a section of the newly-rebuilt I-205 bike path will be open, from the Springwater Corridor to the north (including a new overcrossing at SE Woodstock Blvd). (From the Springwater Corridor to Sunnyside Rd. it will be closed through November as new lighting is installed by ODOT.)
Instead of bringing your bike on the Green Line trains, which will be packed to the gills, you can park it in the special event bike parking at the Lents Town Center MAX station (near the Springwater Corridor) from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. A limited amount of bike parking (not supplemented for this special event) will be available at all Green Line MAX stations as well. (Plan a bike trip to the street fair and bike parking area from here.)
While you're biking around that part of town, check out the new SE Holgate buffered bike lanes! (Plan your bike trip to see them from here.) Enjoy that extra room and comfort and – if you like them and want to see them added to other Portland streets, contact the Portland City Council to let them know!
