Attend an open house on Lake Oswego-to-Portland bike trail

Metro is planning a new bicycle and pedestrian trail to connect SW Portland with Lake Oswego. This future commuter path and the adjacent streetcar line will serve an area that is currently very difficult to access without an automobile.
Metro staff would like to update you on the streetcar/trail alignment options, Dunthorpe alternatives, and Lake Oswego connections, and to get your input on what would make this path a safe and convenient option for bike commuting, walking and recreation. Please attend one of these open houses:
Thursday, May 14, 5:30 pm
Lakewood Center for the Arts
368 State St in Lake Oswego
Tuesday, May 19, 5:30 pm
Waterfront Foursquare Church / Easter Seals Building
5757 SW Macadam Blvd
This is an opportunity to view maps and discuss design alternatives with project staff, neighbors and other stakeholders. Your attendance, engagement and comments on the project really help the BTA do our advocacy work for better bicycling.
You can visit the project website for more details. If you have any questions, contact us or Metro at 503-813-7535 or email trans@oregonmetro.gov.
