How would you spend $4 billion in the state transportation budget? Join 1000 Friends of Oregon, Coalition for a Livable Future, the Bus Project and the Portland Mercury for tonight's game-show style Brewhaha to learn more about the cost of the Columbia River Crossing.
Let's Make a Deal Brewhaha
Thursday, May 7, 7:00 pm
Roots Brewery (1520 SE 7th Ave)
Learn about transportation funding and projects, and spend an imaginary $4 billion in "Transpo-bucks." Speakers include Coalition for a Livable Future's Policy Director, Mara Gross, Chris Smith of portlandtransport.com, Jonathan Maus of BikePortland.org, and Representative Nick Kahl.
Then, stick around after the Brewhaha program for the Columbia River Crossing letter-writing session led by CLF. Write letters to your state legislators about Oregon's transportation priorities, climate change goals, fiscal responsibility, and the livability of the communities around the 1-5 bridge corridor.
