Milwaukie TSP Update = New Bike Advisory Committee?
Posted by: EmilyOct 10 2007, 12:06 pm
With the help of over one hundred citizens and multiple agencies and business owners, City staff has developed a draft TSP that will be presented to City Council for adoption in December 2007. Prior to the final adoption hearing, the Planning Commission will hold two public hearings before referring the TSP to City Council with their recommendation. We invite you to attend any or all of the TSP meetings and public hearings listed below. All written or verbal testimony is welcome!
In addition to comments on the TSP update in general, citizen advocates are urging City Council to create a Milwaukie Bicycle Advisory Committee, similar to those that already operate in Multnomah County, Beaverton, Portland, and Clackamas County. Contact Heather Andrews for more information, or attend one of the meetings listed below to show support for a new Bicycle Advisory Committee.
Oct. 16: City Council Work Session (5:30-7 p.m.)
Oct. 23: Planning Commission Public Hearing (part 1), meeting at 6:30 p.m.

Dec. 4: City Council Public Hearing (part 1), meeting at 7 p.m.
