International Walk and Bike to School Day at Roseway Heights Elementary in NE Portland was so successful that they ran out of bicycle parking. 50% of their students participated (about 300 students) and the attitude was generally festive and celebratory. There was coffee donated by Starbucks for the parents and apples donated by New Seasons in addition to keychains, Clif Zbars, and other goodies.
