Timothy O'Donnell was killed on June 9th at the age of 66. A wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, Tim was born in Portland.
Tim was killed while riding his bicycle, his "main passion." His obituary stated, "Riding with the Portland Velo Club was an every-Saturday occurrence. The support and encouragement that he found with this club was so special to him. Overcoming a new challenge every time he went out, he would come home from his rides with a big smile on his face."
Tim also commuted from his home in Aloha to the Hillsboro Airport where he worked as an airplane mechanic. Riding was a year-round everyday activity for Tim.
The O'Donnell family has set up a Memorial Fund with the BTA to run a "Campaign of Respect and Awareness" for bicyclists and motorists alike.
