This is a great victory for cyclists in Oregon and for BTA as an organization. Congratulations to Scott Bricker for working so hard on this bill to make it a reality.
Jun 18 2007 at 5:45 pmThe Senate's passage of the Vulnerable Roadway User Bill is a huge step forward for bicycle safety. It's just too bad–and so sad–that it took many senseless tragedies before lawmakers saw fit to address the issue.
Jun 19 2007 at 1:06 amYes, congratulations to Scott Bricker and to the rest of the BTA staff and also to Ray Thomas and the rest of the BTA Legislative Committee. This is a huge victory (assuming, of course, it gets signed into law) for all bicyclists and pedestrians in Oregon.
