As you may be aware, the BTA recently bid farewell to Jessica Roberts, Metro-Area Advocate. Since that time we have searched hi and low for the best shoe-filling candidate, and are happy to announce that Emily Gardner has accepted the position of Policy Advocate.
As Policy Advocate, Emily will continue to work with our members to identify and pursue bike promoting initiatives throughout the Portland Metro area and the state of Oregon.
So what's next for cycling advocacy? Continuing to coordinate long-standing programs like the Bike Crash Team, Bike Parking Team, preserving and increasing trail access throughout the region and revitalizing the Bicycle Boulevard campain in North and Northeast Portland.
To find out more about Emily, check out her bio, and to get in touch with her by emailing her.

Bring some o that bike advocacy to Corvallis. We need to be radcially bike friendly. Radically!
