Bike Boulevard Open Houses

Portland is currently in the process of expanding the network of family-friendly bicycle streets, and has already identified 15 miles of new bike boulevards on 7 neighborhood streets! Please join your neighbors in helping City staff identify the key improvements to increase safety for all modes and specifically improve bicycle access.

The Bureau of Transportation has scheduled a series of public meetings to discuss the potential projects with your neighbors. At the first meeting, Transportation staff will provide an overview of bicycle boulevards, review existing traffic conditions, and hear your feedback. City staff will return for a second meeting to present recommendations on specific improvements.

How you can help

Understand your neighbors' concerns about how this project will change their neighborhood. Download the bike boulevard talking points from the BTA website so you can explain how the project will enhance neighborhood livability and improve traffic safety for all roadway users.
