Attend PDOT public meeting 12/13 re: Transportation budget cuts

Commissioner Sam Adams is hosting a public forum Tuesday (12/13) about Portland's transportation budget priorities. There is a budget shortfall, and the Commissioner needs to make some difficult decisions about what to cut out of PDOT's (Portland Office of Transportation) budget.

This forum will directly influence which PDOT programs and services get cut. There will be live electronic voting on transportation funding priorities. It's essential that bicyclists be well-represented, or we run the risk of bicycling programs being cut.

Commissioner Sam Adams and Portland Office of Transportation decision-makers will be present to hear what you care about. Please show up and let them know that good bicycling for Portlanders of all ages is a priority and shouldn't be cut.

What: Portland Transportation Public Forum
When: Tuesday, Dec. 13, 5:00 - 7:30 PM
Where: World Trade Center Plaza
Conference Room 121
SW Salmon St
More info: Sam Adams' blog post about the forum
