Alice 2008 Volunteer

Volunteers are the lifeblood of Alice, preparing auction displays, helping welcome attendees and helping the auction run smoothly. We'd love to have you aboard!

When volunteers support the event by purchasing a full price ticket to the event it helps us to put more resources into bike advocacy. We've also set aside partial scholarship tickets for Alice volunteers, which help us to cover our costs and defray some of the cost for those living lightly. Inquire for details.

It's a little early to be oranizing all our volunteer needs for the 2009 Alice Awards and Action, but feel free to contact Tricia via email or call (503) 226-0676 x25 in the meantime to let her know that you'd like to be involved in our other upcoming BTA activities.

	Check Out You'll be tallying winning bids as the silent auction closes and then from the live auction. Then accepting payment from the winning bidders at the end of the evening. No adding worries though- calculators are provided.
	Live Auction Recorder You’ll be working with the auctioneer Johnna Wells to record winning bidder numbers for the live auction and special appeal. Additional training & setup is required.
	Live Auction Transcriber Transcribe special appeal and live auction bids onto duplicate forms for efficient processing at check out. Additional training & setup is required.
	Bike Parking Valet Park bikes, eat pizza, and even sneak in to the auction for a beer. Shift durations are approximately 2 hours each.
	Raffle Ticket Sales You’ll be wandering around the Silent Auction room, half socializing and half selling raffle tickets to guests. The raffle is GREAT so it will be easy to sell!
